Setting up Magento with OnePica_ImageCdn

  • Get the latest Extension key for the plugin (http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/One+Pica/extension/1279/one-pica-image-cdn)
  • In order to install this Magento community extension into your Magento store you need to login to your store admin panel.
  • Go to System->Magento Connect->Magento Connect Manager. Magento connect manager will ask you to login again. You need to use your store admin login credentials to get past the login screen.
  • Paste the extension key in the input box provided. And click Install button.
  • Installation process will begin and after successful install it will show a message. You can optionally click on “Refresh” button to see whether the extension is installed or not.
  • In order for your newly installed plugin to be ready, you have to log out of your admin and log back in.

Integrating OnePica_ImageCdn for MaxCdn

  • After successful installation, re-login to store admin panel.
  • Go to System->Configuration. You should have seen “Image Cdn” under catalog menu on the left side.
  • Follow the setting below for the ImageCdn: DNS-based tab: Enter Temporary URL of the zone created in MaxCDN (example: http://myimages.maxcdn.netdna-cdn.com) in the Base URL textbox.

  • Click Save Config button and your set.

Note: Please make sure that all magento folders in your web server are writable (chmod 777 <file path>)
